    Effects of Y2O3 and CeO2 on the Processing of Rare-earth-tungsten Materials

    • 摘要: 通过SEM、X射线衍射等方法,分析了Y2O3和CeO2在单元(W-Y2O3;W-CeO2)和复合(W-Y2O3-CeO2)稀土钨材加工过程中的影响和作用.结果表明,Y2O3的添加较大地阻碍了还原过程钨粉粒度以及烧结时坯条晶粒的长大,DeO2的阻碍作用较小;在垂熔烧结后的坯条中,稀土元素主要以稀土钨酸盐或氧化钨酸盐的形式存在,它们的热稳定性影响着材料的热加工性能.

       

      Abstract: The effects of Y2O3 and CeO2 on the processing of the tungsten electrodes were analyzed by means of SEM and x-ray diffraction. The results show that the growing of tungsten powders and the crystal granularity after sintering are greatiy retarded by Y2O3, and comparatively cess retarded by CeO2. Beside tungstates or oxytungstates are the main phases of rare earth in the sintered rods, and their stability affects the materials characteristics of heat processing.
