Abstract: A Prefabricating method was adopted in the multifiber drawing technology. The optical uniformity of the flexible optical fiber bundle manufactured by leaching method was improved through adjusting the temperature, feeding velocity and vacuity in preprocessing. Also the problems in multifiber drawing for large size fiber bundle was resolved. The effects of the prefabricating and the main physical properties of the core, clad and acid-soluble glasses are shown or given.
