马来酸酐紫外辐照接枝聚乙烯的研究

    UV Radiation Induced Grafting of Maleic Anhydride onto Polyethylenes

    • 摘要: 采用紫外辐照技术制备了聚乙烯-马来酸酐接枝物,并用红外光谱对接枝物进行了表征.结果显示,马来酸酐(MAH)已经成功地接枝到了高密度聚乙烯(HDPE),低密度聚乙烯(LDPE),线性低密度聚乙烯(LLDPE)的分子链上,LLDPE和LDPE比HDPE显示了更高的接枝率.研究了紫外光辐照时间、单体及引发剂质量浓度等因素对接枝率及凝胶含量的影响.结果显示,接枝反应非常快,辐照30 s就达到最佳接枝效果.光引发剂二苯甲酮(BP)的用量对接枝率及凝胶含量有重要影响,BP的质量浓度过高可能引起严重的降解、交联等副反应,其质量分数为0.2%时最佳.体系的接枝率随MAH浓度的增加而提高.

       

      Abstract: Maleic anhydride grafted polyethylenes were prepared by UV light irradiation and characterized by FTIR.The result showed that MAH had successfully grafted onto HDPE,LDPE and LLDPE.LLDPE and LDPE presented higher grafting level than HDPE at the same condition.The effects of UV irradiation time, monomer (MAH) and initiator (BP) concentration on grafting rate and gel content of grafted polyethenes were studied.Grafting reaction of MAH onto polyethylenes proceeded quickly,and the optimal duration of UV irradiation is 30 s.BP concentration was an important factor effecting on the grafting rate and gel con- tent,high concentration of BP could cause more severe degrading or cross-linking reactions,so the optimal concentration of BP was 0.2wt%.The grafting rate increased with the increasing of MAH concentration.
