Ellipses and Circles Recognition Based on Invariant Moments

摘要: 为了能快速识别椭圆(圆)曲线,给出了利用不变矩的识别方法,根据曲线离散点的坐标,求出椭圆(圆)曲线的形心和归一化的中心矩,并利用这些中心矩,计算了椭圆(圆)曲线的特征参数,然后再根据这些特征参数和识别准则对曲线进行识别,该识别方法不需要施加任何条件和限制,能快速识别曲线中所有大小和摆向各异的椭圆,实验结果表明这种方法是有效的。Abstract: A method to detect ellipses and circles rapidly is proposed by invariant moments.According to the coordinates of discrete points,the centroid coordinates of ellipses and circles are calculated firstly.Then nor- malized central moments are computed.Based on the normalized central moments,the characteristic parame- ters are obtained.In this paper a method for ellipses and circles recognition,which is not confined by any con- ditions can be used for quick ellipses recognition of all sizes and orientation.The experimental results show that this approach is effective.
