Abstract:
For the complete oxidation of benzene, the influence of various components of manganese, copper, rare earth metal and barium on the catalyst activity is studied. The sequence of activity effect is Mn > Cu > Ln > Ba. Among which rare earth mstals and barium oxides mainly increase the thermal stability and decrease he thermal shrinkage of the catalyst, within the range of 500-3000ppm benzene oncentration, the activity of catalyst increases somewhat with decreasing in enzene concentration. with bed temperature of 400℃ and range of space velocity from 20000-50000hr
1, space velocity has little influence upon catalyst activity. After 1000 hours of ageing test, no sign of dereasing catalyst activity is observed.
