    Computer Simulation and Experimental Study on the Stability of Milling Processes

    • 摘要: 介绍了铣削过程的理论建模方法和铣削过程稳定性试验分析方法。通过所建理论模型及铣削试验讨论了铣削过程中强迫振动、颤振的产生条件及特点。同时,理论与试验分析表明强迫振动随切削速度的增加而增强,颤振随切削速度变化具有一定的周期性;稳定铣削过程振动能量的分布主要集中在刀齿通过率及其整数倍频率处,发生铣削颤振时振动能量分布主要集中在系统低阶固有频率附近。

       

      Abstract: The authors introduce the theorectical modeling method and the stability experiment method of milling process. Through the theoretical model and milling experiment they discuss the condition of producing forced vibration and chatter in milling process and the chatter characteristics. The theoretical study and experimental analysis show that the forced vibration becomes stronger with the increase of milling speed while chatter presents a certain periodicity with the speed change; The vibration energy in the stable milling process mainly concentrates in the passage rate of cutter tooth and its whole number times, but when milling chatter takes place, it concentrates near the low order natural frequency of the system.
