Abstract: Smoothness and noise are two main factors affecting the comfort of cement concrete pavement. The author has studied the ways to improve the smoothness and reduce the noise. The conclusion is that the comfort of cement concrete pavement can be absolutely improved if the technology of construction, the materials of pavement, the slipperiness-resistant structure of pavement and so on are improved while designing and constructing.
