Abstract: In order to decrease the non-realistic deformation in face expression animation,a method of using face expression database to realize face expression animation is presented.This method adopts the priori knowledge of models in face expression database to restrict the model deformation,which effectvely prevents non-realistic deformation.According to this method,some feature points are firstly selected from face definition parameters (FDP) in MPEG-4;Then the feature points'displacement is caculated based on face animation parameter (FAP);Finally,expression database composes new face expression.
