Abstract: The catalysis to convert methane and carbon dioxide into synthesis gas is reviewed. The reaction is studied by thermodynamic-analysed calculation, from which some useful experimental results about the reaction feature and the temperature of carbon deposite are got. Besides the way to select the effective catalyst and the properties of carbon deposition are discussed.
