Abstract: The damage mechanisms and mechanic models of masonry under the action of engineering blasting earthquake are analysed according to the properties of earthquake waves and the damage characteristics of masonry. The conclusion provides the theoretic basis, analysis method and the focal point of observation for evaluating the blasting earthquake effect of common structures' and seismic testing.
