Abstract:
The new method for removal of SO
2 from flue gas was suggested. In this method, the desulfurizing substance was prepared with inferior, and temperature swing adsorption was used to separation and concentrate SO
2 from waste gas, at about 600℃ the SO
2 was reduced in progress to element sulphur by the desulfurizing substance carrying the B-E type catalyst. The results of series tests of the technologic process show: this new method, compared with traditional active carbon adsorption method, is feasible and advanced technologically, it has many advantages, such as low production cost, simple operating technique and effective recovering of sulphur from the waste gas.
