Abstract: The development and application of various polymeric corrosion inhibitors, such as phosphonic polymer, vinyl polymer, nitrogenous polymer, conducting polymer, etc., are reviewed. Polymeric corrosion inhibitors can form fine protective films on substrates easily and have many good properties, such as high corrosion inhibiting efficiency, long-time protection, environmental protection and so on, so they will be one of the important research fields of corrosion inhibitors.
