Abstract:
At present, the cold rotary forging technology of hypoid gears existing defects such as die structure is very complex and the required rotary forging force is bigger, the author put forward a new type cold rotary forging technology, it simplifies the die structure, adopts the local line contact continuous plastic forming.In order to prove the feasibility of this method, the author carry out research on the Contact line of trapezoidal die and tooth surface, the resut proves that it coincides the Contact line of formate grinding wheel and tooth surface.A 3D simulation model was builded in UG6.0, then the 3D simulation model was imported into the softwarae of ADAMS and DEFORM-3D so as to carry out numerical simulation of kinematics, dynamics and forming process.The resut of the numerical simulation proves the movement accuracy of the method.
