Abstract:
Shear wall with concrete filled steel tube columns has being used in engineering in our country, but seismic experiment to it is rare in home and abroad. For studying its seismic performance, Seismic behaviors experiment research on shear walls with rectangular concrete filled steel tube columns under cyclic loading action have been done, in this paper, considering different axial-load ratio, strong and weak shear constructional measures. 1/4 scaled experimental models are one traditional steel reinforced concrete shear wall and three these new kind of walls. Based on the experiment, load-carrying capacity, ductility, stiffness and its degradation, hysteretic property, energy dissipation and failure phenomena of each shear wall are analyzed. Load-carrying capacity mechanical model is established. The results obtained from the calculation are in good agreement with those from the experiment. The results show that this kind of shear wall can efficiently take advantage of concrete shear wall and concrete filled steel tube columns and has excellent seismic behaviors.
