Abstract: Development and applications of HVAC/CAD system inChina are reviewed in the paper. The functions of a practical PC-based HVAC/CAD system characterized by the integration of design calculation and the making of engineering drawing, the automatic transfer of data, the use of LISP language, with its applications of HVAC engineering examples are presented. Its futural prospects and the factors influencing the development of HVAC/CAD technique are also discussed.
