Abstract: The simlification problem of high order linear systems is investigated by means of block-pulse functions, and a recursive algorithm simple in form and convenient for use in Computer is then obtained. Compared with current methods for simplification of high order systems, the method proposed here has the advantage that much computational effort can be saved with the same computing precision.
