Abstract: This paper describes the design, construction and technical targets of a portable laser finger-print detector, and explains the influences of various parameters such as pump energy, dye concentration, Brewster window, small aperture diameter, optical filter to the targets of the instrument.The experimental results show that the instrument is effetive for finger-print detecting.
