Abstract: The basic character of Fe₃Al and its recent research progress are introduced,on which material researchers are focusing. The following topics are discussed the phase constructions of FesAl, the dislocation types, the physics mechanical properties,the material process and the main factors affecting material mechanical properties. And some ways of strengthening and toughening Fe₃Al are put forward as well.
