一种改进的核脉冲峰值甄别器

摘要: 为了避免以往峰值甄别器在输入信号脉宽、峰值均随机的情况下因ADC转换速度造成后端处理器的错记、漏记现象,利用微分过零比较器设计了一种应用于核脉冲峰值探测器的CMOS峰值甄别电路,完成了峰值时刻触发ADC进行峰值模数转换和峰谷时刻进行复位触发的功能.通过Hspice软件进行仿真,证明了采用该峰值甄别电路可以使峰值探测系统完成对输入信号峰值信息的准确检测,同时消除了对转换速度较快ADC的限制,减小了整个系统的死时间.Abstract: To avoid the lost or error phenomena caused by the analog-to-digital converter(ADC) conversion rate in the case of random input signals with pulse width and peak in the traditional discriminator,a CMOS peak-discriminator used in a nuclear pulse peak detector(PKD) was designed by using the differential zero-crossing comparator(DZC) to trigger the ADC to transform the peak-voltage into digital at the peak-time and trigger the circuit to reset PKD at the valley-time.The simulation results by Hspice show that the peak discriminator makes the peak detection system complete the accurate peak detection of all input signal,eliminate the restriction of ADC on conversion rate and reduce the dead time of the system.
