Abstract: The factory affecting the distance of Urban expressway are analyzed. The rational distance of urban express road should adapt to driver's psychological characteristics. It also connects with drivers' habit and adapts to traffic volume. According to the observation data from Beijing Third-Ring road, the new method to calculate the minimum distance between interchanges on urban expressway is proposed.
