Abstract: The recent situation for the researches on chemical carcinogens and on the mechanism of chemical carcinogenesis is reviewed in this paper. Recently, the author of this paper has suggested a quantitative molecular orbital model——"di-regions theory" for the chemical structure-carcinogenic activity relationship. A brief discussion about this theory and its further progress is given in this review.
