Abstract:
In order to study the sound absorption performance of different types of asphalt pavement,a standing weve tube experiment is carried out to research the average sound absorption coefficient from three aspects of Asphalt additives, mixture gradation, road surface characteristics. The results show that, the sound absorption effects of discontinuous gradation is better than the sound absorption effects of Continuous gradation, and the asphalt with additives can improve the sound absorption performance. When the porosity is larger, the average sound absorption coefficient becomes larger and the sound absorption result becomes better. The type of the original road has a direct influence on the average sound absorption coefficient of Micro-surfacing pavement. When the average sound absorption coefficient of the original roads is larger, the average sound absorption coefficient of Micro-surfacing pavement is larger and the sound absorption effects is better;the peak value of average sound absorption coefficient for Micro-surfacing pavement has the trend of 1 200 Hz-1 600 Hz frequency.
