Abstract: The experiments demonstrate that the horizontal plain tube wrapped with screw metal wire remarkably enhaaces heat transfer in nucleate pool boiling of R-113, R-11 and ethanal, has no "Temperature Overshoot" in Freon pool boiling and outperforms the GAWA-T tube. On the basis of dimensional analysis a correlation has been obtained. Compared with the experimental data, the correlation has a mean absolute error of 25%.
