Abstract: In light of the malpractice of BACnet and LonWorks, the two most popular open protocols, the authors study the development of Internet protocols and their applications in building auto-control. Because the HTTP protocol only handles half of the interoperations, XML protocol is used to realize the real and complete interoperation based on components. The document example of configurating controllers is compiled using XML language, which proves its feasibility.
