Abstract:
The ribbons of Pr
1.4Fe
10.5Mo
1.5 and Nd
1.4Fe
10.5V
1.5 have been prepared by melt-spinning process. The ribbons are determined to 1:7 phase with TbCu
7-type sturcture by TEM and XRD. DTA and XRD show that the temperature of Pr(Fe, Mo)
7 being transformed into 1:12 Phase, Pr(Fe, Mo)
12, is 674. 78℃;
α-Fe being decomposed from Pr(Fe,Mo)
12 is 819.87℃; the temperature of Nd(Fe,V)
7 being transformed into 1:12 phase, Nd (Fe,V)
12, is 784.17℃, while in the temperature range from room temperature to 1300℃, there is no
α-Fe being observed.
