Abstract: The anthors provided a literature review of steel self-centering systems,including self-centering moment resisting frame,self-centering concentrically-braced frame,post-tensioned column bases,self-centering energy dissipative bracing system and self-centering steel plate shear walls.The key problems about structures,elements and connection details which need to be further investigated were proposed.
