超大直径高岭土样的固结压缩试验

    Consolidation Tests on Kaolinite Samples With a Large Diameter

    • 摘要: 为了研究固结仪尺寸对黏性土固结压缩特性的影响,设计制作了直径达470mm的超大型固结仪。本文首先介绍了该仪器的构造以及试样制备和试验的方法;并给出了初始含水量为液限的3个大直径高岭土样固结压缩试验的结果并与相同土样标准固结试验的结果进行了比较;根据试验结果的分析,得出了有益于评价标准固结试验结果的结论。

       

      Abstract: In order to study the compression behavior of cohesive soils, a large consolidometer with a diameter of 470 mm was designed and made by the author. The description of this apparatus, the test method of consolidation test and the preparation of soil samples were given in this paper. The results of consolidation tests on three samples with an initial water content of liquid limit were presented, and were compared with the results of the same samples but in the standard consolidation test. Based on the analysis of test results some useful conclusions are finally obtained for evaluating test results from the standard consolidation apparatus.
