    Building of Ideal Dental Crowns Model Based on Reverse Engineering

    • 摘要: 详细介绍了标准牙冠即理想牙冠的建模过程。标准牙冠是口腔修复专用软件CAD/CAM系统的重要组成部分,它的区域特征、局部可修改性等直接影响到后期医生设计牙齿的质量与效率。在标准牙冠设计中,以逆向工程为技术支持,以模型制备、数据采集、特征提取、曲面重建为技术流程,建立起的28颗标准牙冠的模型,不仅符合中国人的生理特征,而且便于医生的后期编辑,大大提高了义齿设计的效率。

       

      Abstract: The primary goal of this research is to build ideal crowns model based on reverse engineering, which is the important part of CAD/CAM system for the dental practice. The character of ideal crowns, such as the areas character and part modifiability, will directly influence the quality and efficiency of teeth designs. Based on reverse engineering technology and taking model preparation, data compilation, character extraction and curved face rebuilding as technical process, the authors have built 28 models of ideal crowns, which not only conform to the special physiological qualities of Chinese but also are easy to doctor's final-period edition, resulting in great enhance of the design efficiency of denture.
