Abstract: In boring, the data of vibration acceleration, cutting force and cutting heat are obtained by using experimental method. The signal characteristic under different cutting conditions are discussed deeply. For the chip classification, the advantages and disadvantages of different characteristic vectors are compared and analyzed.
