Abstract:
For systematic and comprehensive assessment of the scientific research in the university, the authors explore the theory and method of resolving non - structural assessment according to the fundamental principle of AHP (analytic hierarchy process), and establish the hierarchy process model to reflect the goal and principle of assessment combining with the scientific research management of Beijing Polytechnic University. The authors also state the following aspects: matrix adjustment by expert, power determination of assessment indicators, no dimension of fundamental data for scientific research and determination of the statistic model for integrated assessment. This attempt will help the managers of the university to ail-roundly comprehend the content, production and direction of the scientific activities.
