    Precise Calculation of Theoretical Plate Number Required for Cas Chromatography Separation——A Probabilistic Model of Nonlinear Adsorption/Partition Processes

    • 摘要: 研究了气相色谱柱内的非理想流动过通,并提出了一个描述非线性吸附/分配过程的概率模型。此模型可以精确迅速地计算气相色谱分离所需的理论塔板数(或有塔板数)。实验结果表明,本模型包括了传流色谱理论中的线性吸附/分配过程模型,它尤其适用于估计具有非正态迤尾峰的色谱柱效能,包括序升温操作在内。

       

      Abstract: Based on the study of nonideal flow in gas chromatography column, a model of nonlinear adsorption/partition processes was developed. The model is of probabilistic pattern in ξ-domain, and it can be used successfully to evaluate theoretial plate number required for gas chromatography separation.The experimental results show that the model presented in this work is a general extension of the theory of linear Chromatography. In particularly utilizingm micro-computer, the calculation for predicting column efficiency with a back tail of chromatographic breakthrough Curves can be Carried out rapidly and precisely.
