Abstract: The methods to produce nanometer multilayer films, a new material, are introduced and their special properties and wide extent of uses are studied. The principle and advantages of producing this material by gradually alternately pulse potential electrodeposition are particularly demonstrated in detail in this paper. And the great significance development of the nanometer multilayer film and its great prospect are pointed out.
