Abstract:
This paper introduces an analogue static
β-θ numerical algorithm for nonlinear structural dynamic analysis. In this method three parameters,
δ,β,θ are included, with which the optimum stability and accuracy of the algorithm are selected,If only the correlative values arc given to them, It will reduce respectively to the corresponded equivalent analogue increment methods, which are currently used in home and abroad, such as the Clough analogue static method, the Wilson
θ method, the Newmark
β method, the Takizawa's improved analogue static method. In this method the forms of damped matrixes are also considered. In the program of digital computer designed according to the analogue static
β-θ method, the users may easily select the required numerical algorithm according to the requirement by the choice of

θ values in practical applications.
In addition, the detailed formulary of the analogue
β-θ method on the calculation of structural systems of nonlinear seimic response in serial multi-degree of freedon are provided. The program of this subject has been developed, and an example has also been worked out.
