Abstract:
This paper details a dynamic shock absorber model using the Rebrouck method, the influence of displacement, velocity, acceleration, frequency, and temperature on damping characteristics is considered. The constituent parameters of an ATV's right-rear shock absorber are obtained using Levenberg-Marquardt optimization algorithm and five group experimental data, and the test data agree well with the calculation. Finally, the dynamic model is incorporated into an E-class full vehicle model(Carsim
TM) using S-function.The vehicle's behaviors are compared with the results obtained with the classical shock absorber representations under frequency sweep and double lane change conditions.
