离散正交小波的性质兼容性

    The Compatibility of Properties for Discrete Orthogonal Wavelets

    • 摘要: 函数空间中正交小波的对称性和紧支性不能兼容,而离散空间中正交小波的性质能否兼容仍然是一个未知的问题。本文证明了l2(Z)空间中正交小波的插值性和对称性均与有限长度不能兼容;l2(ZN)空间中正交小波的插值性和对称性均与支集长度小于N/2不能兼容。结果表明,研究离散双正交小波是必要的。

       

      Abstract: The symmetric property and compact support are incompatible for orthogonal wavelets in function space, whether the properties of discrete orthogonal wavelets can be compatible is still unknown. This paper proves that both the interpolating property and the symmetric property are incompatible with finite length for discrete orthogonal wavelets in l2(Z); both the interpolating property and the symmetric property are incompatible with the finite length less than-for discrete orthogonal wavelets in l2(ZN). The results show the necessity to study discrete biorthogonal wavelets.
