电磁波导半解析辛解法的二维算例

    2-D Example of Symplectic Semi-analytical Method for Electro-magnetic Wave Guide

    • 摘要: 为了解决复杂形状横截面的电磁波导问题,根据电磁波导的Hamilton体系,在辛几何形式下采用有限元半解析横向离散的方法进行求解。该方法可应用于任意各向异性材料,而且便于处理不同区段的边界条件。同时,给出了一个用半解析辛解法计算二维矩形波导的具体算例,其本征值2.43758μm-1与分析解的本征值2.47596μm-1接近,表明这一方法是有效的。

       

      Abstract: In order to solve electro-magnetic problems with complicated cross-sections, based on the Hamilton formulation for electro-magnetic wave-guides, the method of finite element semi-analytical transverse discretisation under symplectic geometric form is applied. This method can be used in arbitrary anisotropic materials, and is convenient for treating interface conditions between different materials. A 2-D example of symplectic semi-analytical method is given. The eigenvalue 2.437 58 μm-1, which is very close to the analytical result 2.475 96μm-1, shows that this method is effective.
