Abstract: On the basis of some new examples of dwelling structure designs by foreign architects, the arguments set forth in this article is that the housing design should not only meet the needs of the owner by combining the housing form with its functions and its community environment, but also make progresses in all-round way -variety of styles, more humanity in details of design, conveniently located environment and automatic control in coordination with the whole while the housing transitions from material benefits to commodity.
