Abstract:
A new method of heat transfer augmentation with foreign gas jet impingement has recorded very high heat flux even in the case of “negative” temperature difference”.High speed photographic apparatus has further developed this experimental study.The bubble behavoir of the impinging gas in the liquid bath and the bubble departure frequency as well as its raised velocity were recorded with a high speed cameera.The heat transfer characteristics associated with the new method of heat transfer augmentation may be explained with the experimental results preseneted in this paper.
