Abstract:
This study evaluates the comprehensive benefits and influence produced by Beijing-Shanghai expressway on the peripheral areas along Cangzhou section after its transportation service begin. This evaluation is not only restricted in the evaluation of transportation benefits, but adopts different methods, from the two angles of quantitative and qualitative analyses, to study the impacts of the expressway on the change of social environment, the land-use function, the adjustment of industrial layout and the social and economic development of the peripheral areas. Finally, it gives the quantitative results: the long time saving benefit of this section expressway can reach¥4 billion, and the driving benefit can reach ?6.2 billion by 2020 according to "with and without method".
