Abstract:
An experimental research program was conducted to study the behavior of the sandwich-like embedded anchor composed of bars and steel plates in both sides and used for connecting the concrete wall with the steel beam. 4 large-sized specimens were tested in such loading conditions that the anchors were subjected to flexure and shear in one direction or under cyclic loads, with or without axial tension, respectively, from which its load-deformation investigated and some suggestions for its design relationship, failure mechanism, capacities, etc., were were recommended.
