Abstract: The thesis discusses some aspects of on-side parking plan, which include the status and role of on-side parking, the impact factors of on-side parking plan and the principles of on-side parking plan. The on-side parking is an important part of urban parking system and can supplement the off-side parking; planning on-side parking system should take into account the following factors: road features, traffic features, off-side parking facilities and traffic control level and should be done according to the principles of being systematic, coordinative, dynamic and maneuverable.
