Abstract:
CO is one of the main air pollutants. With the continuous development of society, many fields led by the steel industry produce a large amount of CO. CO is very toxic, and seriouly harmful to human health and development, therefor the management of CO is imminent. Catalytic oxidation is one of the effective methods to remove CO. Catalysts used for CO oxidation are mainly divided into noble metal catalysts and non-noble metal catalysts. Among noble metal catalysts, supported Pt catalyst shows superior performance in CO oxidation field. In this paper, the research progress of supported Pt catalyst was reviewed, the supported Pt catalyst was classified according to different types of supports, and the characteristics of different supported Pt catalysts were discussed. The factors affecting the CO oxidation performance of supported Pt catalyst were summarized, and the future research direction of supported Pt catalyst was also analyzed.
