Abstract:
To solve problems of welding difficulty of internal diaphragm, large consumption of steel for external diaphragm and exposed corner in door caused by the large cross-section width of the column, a type of vertical through diaphragm bolted joint (VTDBJ) between concrete-filled steel tubular column and steel beam was proposed in this paper, which is suitable for fabricated steel structure. Based on the monotonic loading test of the joint, the bearing capacities and loading process were analyzed in detail through the finite element analysis. Results show that the finite element analysis based on the actual friction coefficient agress well with the test result, and the detailed loading process of test can be studied by finite element analysis. The joint can be classified as semi-rigid type according to the stiffness. The loading process of the joint can be divided into elastic stage, sliding stage, strengthening stage and failure stage. The joint has excellent bearing capacity, and the ductility coefficients of the connections are greater than 6 and the plastic rotation angles are greater than 0.035, which meets the requirement of relevant specification.
