Abstract:
Aiming at the technical requirements of fast tracking of the current response in a helicopter transient electromagnetic (HTEM) system, a peak current digital predictive control algorithm for a Boost topology circuit was proposed. The inductor current at the end of next switching period was predicted by the algorithm by sampling voltages including input and output, and inductor current of the current switching period, and then the duty ratio was deduced, so that the reference within one switching period was tracked by the inductor current. The transient response speed of the inductor current was improved. The stability and rapidity of the closed-loop system were analyzed by Bode diagram. Additionally, the control algorithm is not only simple, but also easy to be implemented on DSP of digital signal processors. Finally, the proposed control algorithm was verified by using simulation software and experiments.
