基于DTI的颞叶癫痫患者认知功能研究综述

    Review of Study on Cognitive Function for Temporal Lobe Epilepsy Patients Using Diffusion Tensor Imaging

    • 摘要: 颞叶癫痫(temporal lobe epilepsy,TLE)是最常见的癫痫类型,癫痫反复发作会损害患者的认知功能,但导致TLE认知功能障碍的机制尚未明确.弥散张量成像(diffusion tensor imaging,DTI)是近年来兴起的一种无创性磁共振成像技术,它能敏感地显示脑白质的微观结构特性,并能够描述出脑白质纤维束的结构连接.因此,主要探讨DTI在TLE发病及其认知功能领域的研究现状,重点从记忆功能、语言功能和执行功能3个方面展开讨论;最后讨论了DTI在研究TLE患者认知功能领域的发展趋势和存在的问题.

       

      Abstract: Temporal lobe epilepsy (TLE) is the most common type of epilepsy. The cognitive function can be damaged due to recurrent seizures. However, the mechanism of cognitive dysfunction caused by TLE is unclear. Diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) is a non-invasive magnetic resonance imaging technique developed in recent years, which can sensitively show the microstructure characteristics of white matter and describe the structural connections of the white matter fibers. The research about epileptic attack and cognitive function of TLE patients using DTI was discussed in this paper. Specially, memory, language and executive functions were reviewed in detail. Finally, the development trend and existing problems of the topic were discussed.
