电极丝临界摩擦力和锥角的研究及试验

    Research on Critical Friction Force and Critical Angle of Electrode Wire and the Test

    • 摘要: 电火花加工机床利用电火花加工原理加工导电材料,为了避免加工过程中电极丝在进给时发生失稳断丝,首先,将电极丝简化为Euler-Bernoulli梁,建立了具有通用性的电极丝临界摩擦力和临界锥角的计算模型.接着,以直径为0.19 mm、长度为63 mm的钨电极丝为例,得出了其临界摩擦力和临界锥角的大小.最后,通过摩擦力测试试验验证了模型的准确性.利用该模型及其计算结果可有效避免电极丝发生失稳断丝的同时还能指导电极丝锥度的调节.

       

      Abstract: EDM machine tool is a special machine tool for processing conductive material by using EDM principle. To avoid broken wires when feeding the electrode wire in the process of machining. First, the electrode wire was simplified as an Euler-Bernoulli beam, and a generalized calculation model for the critical frictional force and critical cone angle of the electrode wire was established. Then, the tungsten electrode wire with a diameter of 0.19 mm and a length of 63 mm was taken as an example to obtain the critical frictional force and the critical cone angle, and the accuracy of the model was verified by the friction test. Finally, the accuracy of the model was verified by the friction test. Using this model and its calculation results can effectively avoid wire breakage of wire electrode and guide the adjustment of electrode taper.
