Abstract:
The study of brain functional connectivity with functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) was based on the assumption of connectivity stability. Actually, the data are dynamic, showing evidence of time-varying connectivity patterns, even under the same experimental condition. In this paper, the basis of the dynamic functional connectivity of the brain was first introduced, then the method of the dynamical functional connectivity of fMRI data in recent years was reviewed, and the research results of these methods in epilepsy were summarized. Finally, the open question and the future prospect were pointed out in this field.
