Abstract:
To solve the problem of the backwardness of seismic design of urban water supply pipelines, performance-based seismic design was put forward. The seismic fortification standard of urban water supply pipe was selected as a starting point, the interface failure probability, pipeline damage rate and post-earthquake water supply amount were selected as the three measure indexes to divide the performance level, and the advice for seismic performance goals of different water supply pipes under different fortified seismic conditions was given. Then, the hydraulic performance of different service function pipe network systems after earthquake was analyzed. Results show that the performance-based seismic design can further identify the weak links in the water supply network, which provides a preliminary reference for realizing performance-based seismic design of urban water supply pipe.
