Abstract:
Based on the analysis of safety driving recognition demand mechanism and behavior characteristics, the light source characteristics of artificial lighting were studied to improve the driving recognition distance under open traffic conditions in the fog section at night, which can improve the driving safety and efficiency. The recognition experiments of 12 small car drivers under different light source characteristics and visibility conditions were carried out through indoor simulation of traffic environment in the fog section at night. By using the binary linear model to fit the experimental data, the correlation between visibility and recognition distance in the fog section at different color temperatures and different illumination levels was obtained. It can be concluded that the light source with a high color temperature under the same illumination and visibility can increase the driver's recognition distance in the fog section. The demand of driver's recognition distance can be met by increasing the light intensity. The methods and conclusions can provide theoretical and technical support for improving recognition distance in fog section, and lay a foundation for the study of safety guarantee technology in fog section at night.
