微型直接甲醇燃料电池的研究进展

    Recent Research Progress on Micro Direct Methanol Fuel Cell

    • 摘要: 为了更好地理解快速发展的微型直接甲醇燃料电池技术,分析了消费市场和国防系统对小体积、高性能的便携式电源的需求,总结了微型直接甲醇燃料电池技术的发展现状.微型直接甲醇燃料电池利用微机械加工技术制作,在笔记本电脑、手机、单兵系统、弹药引信等领域有广阔应用前景,因为它具有体积小、质量轻、能量密度高、环境友好等优点.但同时也因为微小尺寸效应,微型直接甲醇燃料电池中也存在产物管理、制造方法、膜电极制备、燃料供给等方面的技术难题.对目前微型直接甲醇燃料电池的研究状况进行深入调研,分析了影响燃料电池输出性能的关键因素,指出了微型直接甲醇燃料电池面向未来应用的发展趋势和所需要解决的技术挑战.

       

      Abstract: To get a comprehensive understanding on the rapid development of micro direct methanol fuel cell (μDMFC) technology, this paper analyzed the urgent demand from consumer market and military use for portable power sources with small size and high performance, giving a review of recent research progress of μDMFC technology. In general, μDMFC is based on micro electro-mechanical system (MEMS) technology and has become a promising application for laptops, cell phones, individual combat system and bomb fuse due to its cute volume, light weight, high energy density, and merit of environmental protection. However, unlike the traditional sized fuel cells, the decrease of feature size of μDMFC has induced many differences in reaction components, manufacturing process, membrane electrolyte assembly, as well as fuel supply and power density characteristics. This paper focuses on the key factors that affect the output performance and finally reveals the technological challenges and trends in the future.
